We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Mechanic to provide top-notch service to our customers while maintaining exceptional service standards. Your role will involve tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, part removal, installation, disassembly, assembly, and evaluating/reconditioning parts.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
- Perform general and detailed repairs of trucks, engines, and components.
- Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
- Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles in operation to diagnose malfunctions and plan work procedures.
- Inspect protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
- Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
- Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve satisfaction and loyalty.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
