    We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Mechanic to provide top-notch service to our customers while maintaining exceptional service standards. Your role will involve tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, part removal, installation, disassembly, assembly, and evaluating/reconditioning parts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
    • Perform general and detailed repairs of trucks, engines, and components.
    • Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
    • Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles in operation to diagnose malfunctions and plan work procedures.
    • Inspect protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
    • Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
    • Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve satisfaction and loyalty.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
