Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PMI); troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds major components on vehicles and equipment. Ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components. Additional responsibilities include:/ph3Essential Job Functions:/h3ulliPerforms all work in accordance with established safety procedures./liliCompletes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times./liliAssists in the repair and adjustment of equipment./liliWashes vehicles and equipment./liliConducts safety checks on vehicles./liliAssists with service calls for breakdowns./liliPerform other maintenance related work as required./liliMaintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards./li/ulh3Requirements and Qualifications:/h3ulli3-5+ years experience as class A or B mechanic/liliHydraulics experience is required/liliExperience with troubleshooting/repairing DPF systems diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, CAT, Peterbilt, and Paccar./liliWorking knowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards and regulations/liliA valid drivers license is required.
