    Registered Nurse, Dialysis

    Unit Overview:

    Dialysis unit services all inpatients that require hemodialysis, therapeutic plasma exchange, or plasmapheresis during their hospital admission; either within the department and/or critical care areas. Dialysis services are available as needed 24/7.

    Shift: Full-time, 1st Shift

    Job Description:

    Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

    • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.

    • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.

    • Basic life support [must be obtained within 30 days of hire.]

    • ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.

    • Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
