Shift Details:


  • 12-hours shift

  • Days, Weekends and Holidays

  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed


Nursing Specialty: Hemodialysis RN
Registered Nurse Hemodialysis Duties & Responsibilities:


  • RNs will provide dialysis treatments while monitoring and assessing patients experiencing acute or chronic renal disease. 

  • RNs are responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with acute or chronic kidney conditions, including end-stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, fluid overload, and electrolyte imbalances. 

  • RNs will be assessing patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments, monitoring vital signs and treatment responses, managing vascular access devices, operating and maintaining dialysis equipment, and administering prescribed medications.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care medical-surgical experience and two (2) years of dialysis experience in a community-based acute care hospital setting.

  • AHA, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certificate

  • MAB or CPI

  • LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

  • Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
