    Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) – San Diego, CA

     

    A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for patients requiring renal replacement therapies. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while supporting individuals with acute and chronic kidney conditions.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients receiving dialysis treatments

    • Administer hemodialysis and other prescribed renal replacement therapies

    • Monitor treatment effectiveness and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment plans

    • Educate patients and family members regarding kidney disease management and treatment options

    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

    • Supervise and support dialysis support staff as appropriate

    • Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards

    • Assist with care planning, patient monitoring, and treatment adjustments

    • Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices

    • Participate in on-call coverage and travel between care locations as needed

    Qualifications

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

    • Previous dialysis nursing experience required

    • Experience providing hemodialysis treatments required

    • Knowledge of renal disease management and dialysis procedures

    • Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
