Diagnostic Services Registered Nurse (RN) – La Jolla, CA
A healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients undergoing specialized diagnostic and imaging procedures. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals who enjoy patient education, clinical assessments, and providing high-quality care in an outpatient setting.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor patient status before, during, and after diagnostic procedures
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist with specialized testing and imaging-related procedures
Monitor patient responses and intervene appropriately when needed
Educate patients regarding procedures, preparation requirements, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Promote infection prevention and patient safety standards
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care
Support quality patient care initiatives and department workflow
Provide compassionate and professional patient-centered care
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous nursing experience required
Outpatient, diagnostic services, procedural, or imaging experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
