    A patient-centered healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join a collaborative imaging team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.     In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate imaging to support provider diagnosis and treatment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
    • Program and adjust ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images
    • Review patient histories and physician orders prior to examinations
    • Provide clear patient communication and ensure comfort throughout procedures
    • Select and capture appropriate images for physician interpretation
    • Collaborate with providers, radiologists, and clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses

     

    Ideal Background

    ️ Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
    RDMS certification required
    ️ BLS certification required
    3+ years of sonography experience including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
    ️ RVT credential preferred (training support available if needed)
    ️ Strong technical skills and a compassionate patient care approach
