MedQuest Associates, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our innovative team.  We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you. 

 

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Diagnostic Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our team. Candidates must be ARRT registered mammography technologists with a strong interest in training in diagnostic mammography and procedures. 

 

Facility: Novant Health Breast Center 

Location: 315 Lillington Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28204

Position Type: Full-Time 

Work Schedule Details: 40 hours per week, possibility of 4x10

Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist Trainee must be an ARRT registered mammography technologist with a strong interest training in diagnostic mammography.  

Qualifications:

Education: 

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

  • Certification in Mammography 

  • ARRT registered and Mammography registry 

  • Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active 

  • Active state licensure, where applicable 

Prior Experience: 

  • 0 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist 

Special Qualifications: 

  • Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals 

  • Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems. 

  • Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields.
