We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide education, support, and guidance to patients living with diabetes, empowering them to manage their condition and improve their quality of life. This position offers a remote work option.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized and group diabetes self-management education.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
  • Teach patients about blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Provide ongoing support and counseling to patients and families.
  • Stay current with best practices, guidelines, and emerging technologies in diabetes care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications
  • Current certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
  • Licensed healthcare professional (RN, RD, PharmD, or other relevant credential).
  • Minimum two years of experience in diabetes education or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Experience with insulin pumps, CGMs, and other diabetes technologies.
