    DHS Bus Relationship Manager, Full Time, First Shift

    The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the primary strategic liaison between UC Health clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders and the Digital Health Systems team. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment between enterprise strategy, business priorities, and digital health capabilities. The BRM partners closely with executive and senior leaders to translate strategic objectives into a prioritized, actionable digital portfolio that delivers measurable value.

    Responsibilities

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Serve as the primary strategic interface between assigned business areas and Digital Health Systems.

    • Partner with enterprise, clinical, and operational leaders to understand and support UC Health's strategic priorities.

    • Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and administrative leaders.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Translate enterprise strategy and business objectives into a prioritized digital health demand and initiative roadmap.

    • Support demand intake, evaluation, and portfolio prioritization processes in alignment with enterprise governance.

    • Ensure digital initiatives are aligned with UC Health's strategic plan, value streams, and enterprise outcomes.

    • Advocate for enterprise-wide optimization while balancing value stream needs, standards, and resource constraints.

    Data Collection and reporting:

    • Review, analyze, and report on program data to track performance metrics and outcomes

    • Present regular reports for senior management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders

    • Use data to identify areas for improvement and make evidence-based decisions to optimize program delivery

    • Monitor initiative progress and support value realization, benefits tracking, and executive-level reporting.

    Budget and Resource Management:

    • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and within budget

    • Align all project budgets under the service line umbrella for precise tracking

    • Monitor expenditures, ensure cost control measures are in place, and recommend adjustments as necessary

    Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure programs adhere to healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation, and enterprise architecture standards

    • Identify potential risks and issues related to program implementation and delivery, taking corrective actions when needed

    Training and Development:

    • Provide training and support to project managers involved in delivery of work aligned to the program to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying up to date with industry best practices and novel healthcare trends

    • Facilitate strategic communication and change management to support adoption and sustained outcomes.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree - Healthcare administration, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
      • 4 years' equivalent experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree.
    • Preferred: Master's degree - Healthcare administration, information systems, business administration, or a related field


    LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: Not required, but optional certifications include BRMP, CBRM, IT-BRM, PMP.

    • Minimum Required: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience
    • Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience
