DHHS- IT Senior BA/Testing Lead

Conduct QA and testing for EDI applications, particularly HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions (837I, 837P, NCPDP D.0). - Create and execute test scripts for EDI transmissions, including 837i, 839, and NCPDP D.0.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Perform QA and testing activities to support the Managed Care Transition Project for NC DHHS.
- Assess the testability of business requirements and develop test cases based on requirements and software design documents.
- Develop and execute functional, integration, and regression tests.
- Conduct QA and testing for EDI applications, particularly HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions (837I, 837P, NCPDP D.0).
- Create and execute test scripts for EDI transmissions, including 837i, 839, and NCPDP D.0.
- Develop SQL queries for testing and validation purposes.
- Script and automate test suites to improve testing efficiency.
- Review, analyze, and report on test results to stakeholders.
- Utilize test and defect management tools such as HP ALM and JIRA.
- Test web applications and ensure functionality aligns with requirements.
- Conduct healthcare claims processing testing and validation.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to write business and QA documents.
- Facilitate and support user acceptance testing with end users.
- Prioritize concurrent deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Apply knowledge of Agile methodology in testing practices.
