Electrical Foreman - Commercial Construction

Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour DOE

This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role and oversee electrical crews, coordinate daily field activities, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead commercial electrical crews.
  • Coordinate daily manpower, assignments, and workflow.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Oversee installation of commercial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Monitor crew productivity, quality, and project progress.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, and other trades.
  • Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and jobsite needs.
  • Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and applicable electrical codes.
  • Maintain OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
  • Train and provide direction to electricians and apprentices.
  • Communicate project status, manpower needs, material requirements, and potential issues to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • Commercial electrical construction experience required.
  • Previous Electrical Foreman or Crew Lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
  • Texas Journeyman Electrician license preferred based on project requirements.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening.
