Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
o Jenkins
o Kafka
o New Relic
o DevOps Automation
- Experience with Linux system administration.
- Expertise in CI/CD implementation and release management.
- Experience in monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
(GCP).
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
- Manage production environments with a focus on reliability, scalability, and
security.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using New Relic.
- Configure and maintain Kafka platforms and messaging infrastructure.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive problem resolution for production incidents.
- Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system performance and
deployment processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management best
practices.
- Support disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.
- Participate in on-call support and incident management activities.
