Title: DevOps / Platform Engineer - TELECOM DOMAIN EXP
Locations: Irving, TX
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $45-$50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Apache Spark, PL/SQL, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience in the Telecom domain and possess a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications, real-time data processing platforms, and API-based solutions.
The candidate should be proficient in Agile delivery environments and have hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, application troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices.
- Build and support real-time and near real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
- Create and optimize database objects including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments, monitoring, and platform operations.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and performance issues across distributed environments.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions for production support.
- Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
- Support CI/CD processes and source code management using Git-based workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative telecom platform solutions.
- Perform root-cause analysis using logs, traces, and monitoring tools to resolve production issues.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot development.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Strong PL/SQL development experience.
- Experience building enterprise-grade Microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular.
- Experience with Git, SVN, Maven, and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Telecom industry experience is mandatory.
