DevOps Engineer/SRE

Description

Due to the client's requirements this role is only open for USC/GC (W2 only)Position Summary:

• 6-9 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of Linux/server administration fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with deployment automation and enterprise application environments.
• Strong understanding of application reliability, resiliency, scalability, and availability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in a production environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java development.
• Strong Amazon EKS / Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with cloud-native application deployment.
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Git, or similar CI/CD technologies.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and operational automation.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications or platforms.
• Experience with security engineering or secure software development practices.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies or AI-enabled applications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
