Title: DevOps Engineer
Locations: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $44 - $48/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, systems administration, and software engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or a similar software engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automating server provisioning and configuration.
- Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like Kibana or DataDog.
- Ability to implement security best practices and manage system reliability.
- Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Cross-platform administration experience with Windows and Linux.
- Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) using SSO, OAuth, and Role-based Access Control.
- Knowledge of Finance Cloud Platforms by Oracle and SAP.
- Certification in cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Agile and DevSecOps practices.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
- Automate server provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system health and performance, setting up alerts and dashboards as necessary.
- Ensure system security and reliability, managing secrets and troubleshooting outages.
