Role: Devops Engineer

Location: Jersey city, NJ (3 to 4 days onsite)

Type: Contract

Rate: $60/hr.-$65/hr. on C2C

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with cloud platforms, containerization, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes.
• Implement security best practices and infrastructure monitoring.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.

Strong scripting, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
