Inside the Role
Product Validation Engineering (PVE) at Daimler Trucks North America is responsible for component- and system-level validation that helps ensure our products remain industry leaders in reliability while supporting the lowest Total Cost of Ownership for our customers. This position is part of the newly formed Data Acquisition and Technology Applications (DATA) team, which enables efficient access, management, and visualization of vehicle test data. The team provides the infrastructure, tools, and support needed to make test data accessible, reliable, and actionable for PVE, Design Engineering, IT, Powertrain, global teams, and other internal and external customers. In this role, you will collaborate across these organizations to develop and support data-focused processes, applications, and use cases. This role will specifically focus on executing a Development Operations (DevOps) strategy that supports quality software deployments, application health, and overall system performance. The position promotes communication, integration, and collaboration between development, quality assurance, and IT operations teams to improve software delivery and productivity. It also supports the development of infrastructure, adoption of technology best practices, and continuous improvement of operational performance. Success in this role requires broad technical knowledge and experience across infrastructure, software development, operations, and quality assurance.Posting Information
