    Job Summary

    The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure while developing automation solutions that support software deployment, system administration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The role works closely with development teams to automate infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and manage hyperconverged cloud infrastructure.
    • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
    • Collaborate with software development teams to automate deployment processes.
    • Design and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.
    • Test and validate automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
    • Monitor infrastructure and track the impact of maintenance, patching, and system changes.
    • Manage virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure.
    • Administer Linux and Windows Server environments.
    • Implement configuration management using Ansible.
    • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and infrastructure automation.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
    • Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) certification.
    • Experience with VMware, Nutanix, or Red Hat OpenStack.
    • Experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
    • Proficiency with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible scripting.
    • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience implementing configuration management using Ansible.
    • Experience with Active Directory and Nutanix cloud platforms.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
    • Scrum Master certification is a plus.
