Pay Rate: $80,000-110,000 annually depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of modern containerized infrastructure. This position is responsible for keeping technology systems stable, secure, and efficient while working with development and IT teams to deploy applications and resolve infrastructure challenges.
The perfect candidate would have 5-10 years of enterprise infrastructure experience administering OpenShift or another enterprise Kubernetes platform in production. Design, deploy, and maintain container-based application platforms.
Administer and support on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage systems.
Manage and optimize enterprise Kubernetes environments, including Red Hat OpenShift.
Configure and maintain load balancing and traffic management solutions.
Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD processes to automate and optimize application deployment workflows.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, and technical guides while partnering with engineering, development, and operations teams.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure, including server, networking, and storage administration.
Hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift or a comparable enterprise Kubernetes platform, such as Rancher, VMware Tanzu, Amazon EKS, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Strong knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Terraform, or similar cloud and infrastructure automation technologies.
Experience configuring and managing load balancers and traffic management solutions.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Tech Field with certifications like RHCE, CKA, AWS
Linux system administration experience, Python C++ and web app. development
