    Description

    Job Title: Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer - Hybrid

    • Type: Hybrid Schedule/ Full Time (2-3 days on-site work per week, 2-3 days work from home)
    • Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 
    • Compensation: $150k - $169k Annually

    Overview:

    Proprietary software solutions and innovation are at the core of what differentiates our client in the alternative investment space. As a core member of their Product Development team, the Cloud DevOps Engineer, will be working as part of a cross-functional team and will be responsible for designing and implementing re-usable frameworks, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, infrastructure automation leveraging modern cloud agnostic architecture and GCP/AWS services.

    What you will be doing:

    You will design and implement end to end highly scalable and resilient cloud engineering solutions for infrastructure and application services using GCP/AWS Cloud Services.

    • Implement CI /CD capabilities for infrastructure and applications
    • Contribute in the architecting and implementation of cloud-agnostic and cloud migration solutions
    • Write infrastructure automation scripts and templates, and integrating with DevOps tools
    • Write test automation scripts such as unit tests, integration tests, performance tests
    • Work closely with members of the Architecture and Development teams
    • Communicate and report on assigned tasks
    • Take responsibility and exhibit ownership of assigned tasks
    • Follow emerging technologies
    • What you must have:
    • You have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
    • 8+ years in IT or Software Engineering including 3 years in GCP/AWS cloud environment
    • Minimum 3 years of DevOps experience
    • Experience in writing Terraform IaC scripts is a must
    • Highly proficient in writing terraform IaC scripts for deploying applications using containers on Kubernetes
    • Working experience in configuring Cloud Applications so that they can seamlessly failover to another region in Cloud
    • Highly proficient in Python and nice to have Java, Node JS
    • Experience in setting up and troubleshooting GCP/AWS production environments
    • Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying highly scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure
    • Experience designing and implementing end to end CI/CD Delivery pipelines
    • Advanced hands-on skills operating in Linux and Windows
    • Proven knowledge of application architecture, networking, security, reliability and scalability concepts, software design principles and patterns
    • Knowledge of financial industry is a plus
    • Self-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail

    Salary package :

    $ 150,000.00 - 170,000.00 (US Dollar)
