Role : DevOps/AI Platform Engineer GCP
Location : Tempe, AZ Onsite
Type: Only W2
Role Purpose: Build and operate a secure, automated Google Cloud engineering platform that enables rapid movement of Gemini/Vertex AI solutions from experimentation into production.
Key Responsibilities
Build CI/CD and infrastructure automation on GCP for AI applications, APIs, models/configurations, and cloud services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
Establish deployment pipelines and environment management across development, test, staging, and production.
Support deployment and operationalization of applications consuming Vertex AI and Gemini services.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, AI/application observability, and operational dashboards using GCP-native capabilities where appropriate.
Implement secure identity, secrets/configuration management, IAM, networking, and access patterns in collaboration with security teams.
Enable automated testing, release management, rollback, and production support.
Continuously optimize platform reliability, scalability, engineering productivity, and GCP consumption.
Preferred Profile: Strong GCP, CI/CD, Terraform, containers/Kubernetes and observability experience; practical MLOps/LLMOps and Vertex AI deployment experience highly desirable.
