Responsibilities

Team Darkstar is seeking a contractor to support the development and maintenance of the Portfolio Analytics Tool (PAT), the Bond Laddering Tool, and the Bond Duration Tool. These applications provide financial advisors with self-service capabilities for portfolio analysis, fixed-income strategy evaluation, and investment insights.

The primary focus of the assignment will be PAT. The contractor will deliver application enhancements, address defects and technical issues, improve the user experience, and support portfolio construction, risk evaluation, and investment comparison capabilities. The role may also contribute to the exploration and implementation of AI-enabled features."

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Full-stack application development (Angular, TypeScript, Java/Node.js).
• Cloud-native engineering on AWS (ECS, Lambda, containerized and serverless solutions).
• API, microservices, and distributed systems design.
• Database design and development (SQL/NoSQL).
• Technical leadership, architecture, and software delivery best practices.

Preferred Skills

• NestJS, AEM, DynamoDB, Python, and AWS serverless technologies.
• Experience developing analytics, reporting, or financial technology solutions.
• Financial services domain knowledge.
