Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Specialist for a Contract with a client in McLean VA. The ideal candidate will drive the modernization of enterprise data systems by designing real-time data transfer solutions and leveraging AI to accelerate legacy system migration, data reconciliation, and process automation.

Rate Range: $100/Hour to $105/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Specialist Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement modern real-time data transfer solutions for enterprise data platforms.

• Leverage AI technologies to support legacy system modernization, data migration, reconciliation, and process automation.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java or Python.

• Build and support event-driven architecture utilizing Apache Kafka, data streaming, and distributed systems technologies.

• Collaborate with architecture, security, platform, and application teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Contribute to cloud-native development initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments across modern technology environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of hands-on software development experience with Java and/or Python.

• Proven experience with AI-driven legacy system modernization, data migration, and system reconciliation.

• Strong expertise in REST APIs, Apache Kafka, microservices, cloud technologies (AWS), and event-driven architectures.

Pay Details: $100.00 to $105.00 per hour
