Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing reusable test automation frameworks, establishing coverage standards, and delivering AI-driven quality insights and automated quality gates across microservices.

Rate Range: $85/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Senior Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop reusable agentic test automation frameworks, patterns, and reference implementations that can be adopted across multiple engineering teams.

  • Build and optimize GenAI-powered agents for test generation, test maintenance, failure analysis, requirements validation, and automated reporting.

  • Define and implement enterprise-wide test coverage standards, governance processes, quality metrics, and best-practice templates for software testing.

  • Develop scalable automated reporting solutions that aggregate test results, service health data, and defect insights across multiple microservices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Create and integrate automated quality gates within GitHub workflows to evaluate requirements, acceptance criteria, test readiness, and compliance before development begins.

  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to improve software quality, accelerate release readiness, and drive adoption of AI-enabled testing and quality engineering practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering/Test Automation, including 3+ years working with GenAI, LLMs, or agentic automation solutions.

  • Proven hands-on expertise in building LLM-powered agents, GitHub Actions workflows, and enterprise test automation frameworks using Playwright and Karate.

  • Experience implementing automated quality gates, coverage standards, and GenAI-driven reporting solutions across microservices environments.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $90.00 per hour
