Developer-Full Stack Senior - Java

Introduction

Our company is seeking a senior full stack Java developer to support the growing business needs for model analytics within our mortgage portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with business partners to deliver a web application for our Finance division, playing a meaningful role in driving activities to deliver the solution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5 years of relevant professional experience
• 4 years of Java software development experience
• Strong understanding of Java language, Java 8 standard library, and open sources
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Familiar with Gradle and Jenkins build tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications for security and responsiveness
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively
• Analytical skills and problem-solving
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• Understanding of application performance diagnostics and analytical tools
• Knowledge of automated test frameworks
• Mock-oriented testing with positive and negative testing (JUnit/Mockito)
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Angular front-end framework and Typescript
• Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks
• AI Assisted Automatic Testing suite development
