Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Professional for a Contract with a client in McLean VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing forecasting engine capabilities, modernizing existing systems, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting through high-quality software solutions.

Rate Range: $70/Hour to $75/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Professional Job Responsibilities include:

• Refactor and modernize financial forecasting application components to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Develop and enhance core forecasting engine features to support accurate and efficient financial planning and reporting.

• Monitor and support critical financial reporting production runs, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of outputs.

• Troubleshoot defects, reduce technical debt, and implement software engineering best practices to improve application reliability.

• Write high-quality Python code and develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure robust application performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver new forecasting capabilities and end-to-end technology solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.

• 3+ years of hands-on Python software development experience (or 1-2 years with an advanced degree).

• Experience with SQL, Git, automated testing frameworks, and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Ability to develop, enhance, and support financial forecasting applications while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
