Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Professional for a Contract with a client in Mclean, VA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and microservices while delivering high-quality solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer-Full Stack Professional Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot technologies.
Build and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices while ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver business requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications while contributing to technical documentation and best practices.
Support cloud-native deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments using AWS, Jenkins, and Kubernetes (EKS).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of professional experience in Full Stack Development with Java and modern web technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and microservices architecture.
Proven experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes (EKS), Jenkins, Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
