Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC. The ideal candidate must have experience supporting Agile/Scrum project delivery, including sprint tracking, stakeholder coordination, and project documentation, to be considered for this role.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring timely completion of action items.

  • Track sprint progress, project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery of project milestones.

  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, meeting minutes, and other documentation for leadership and project teams.

  • Assist with release planning, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities, and post-release monitoring to ensure successful releases.

  • Identify project risks and blockers, escalate issues as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives involving Agile, cloud technologies, and APIs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience supporting Agile/Scrum projects, project coordination, or IT delivery initiatives.

  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools to track sprint progress, risks, issues, and project dependencies.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and support Agile delivery within digital transformation environments.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
