Position: Developer

Location: Augusta, Maine (Remote- Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zone)

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Pay: $59-61 per hour 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and document software enhancements and system modifications.
• Develop and implement production fixes using GenTax functional and technical programming standards.
• Create and maintain applications using C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio.
• Execute SQR change requests within the FAST GenTax system.
• Track and manage changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) in accordance with project standards.
• Collaborate with software developers and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of enhancements.
• Participate in structured code reviews, walkthroughs, and quality assurance activities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to development and project standards.
• Support initiatives that improve the efficiency and accuracy of tax processing systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of programming experience 
• 2 years of experience with one of FAST Enterprises, LLC technology systems: GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, Fast CSE
• Strong proficiency with: C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio 
• Has not worked for FAST Enterprises directly in the past 6 months
