Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications and websites.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, and cross-browser compatibility. This role will work closely with design, development, and QA teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications and websites.

• Build solutions for portals, enterprise search, mobile functionality, and interactive forms.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, page optimization, and accessibility.

• Implement SEO best practices.

• Develop mobile and social media functionality.

• Collaborate with QA teams for testing and quality assurance.

• Follow web development best practices, standards, and governance.

• Evaluate technology solutions and recommend improvements.

• Stay current with modern web technologies and industry trends.

• Participate in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Mentor or supervise team members as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Progressive experience in front-end web development.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, or Foundation.

• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile interfaces.

• Experience with cross-browser testing and compatibility.

• Knowledge of SEO and web optimization.

• Experience with REST APIs, AJAX, XML, JSON, and MVC frameworks.

• Experience with Git, SVN, TFS, or similar source control systems.

• Experience creating and executing unit tests.

• Strong object-oriented programming and scripting skills.

Additional Technical Skills

• Experience with Java, .NET/C#, PHP, or Ruby.

• Knowledge of relational database modeling and advanced SQL queries/procedures.

• Experience creating reusable JavaScript libraries/components.

• Experience with IIS and Apache web servers.

• Experience with rapid prototyping and presenting web designs.

• Knowledge of CSS3 animations.

• Ability to travel to off-site locations when required.
