Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY/Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will be Responsible for administering and optimizing critical platforms, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, automation, and reliable production support across enterprise systems.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Administer, maintain, and support Redis (Standalone, Sentinel, and Cluster) and Elasticsearch environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Manage and monitor Kafka infrastructure, including brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups.
Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery activities across platform environments.
Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and provide on-call support for critical systems.
Automate operational and administrative tasks using Shell scripting, Python, and infrastructure automation tools.
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve platform stability, scalability, security, and overall system performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Linux environments.
Strong experience administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing Redis, Elasticsearch, and Kafka platforms in enterprise production environments.
Proficiency in Linux administration, automation using Shell/Python scripting, and performance tuning with a focus on high availability and incident management.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
