The Detailer transforms project concepts into precise, production-ready drawings and material take-offs that drive successful project execution. Working from contract documents and design drawings, this role prepares detailed fabrication drawings, develops accurate bills of material, manages drawing revisions, and provides technical expertise to support sales, engineering, and operations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely solutions that keep projects moving forward.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND PROFICIENCIES: This is an entry-level support position. A High School diploma or equivalent is required plus 3 – 5 years’ experience. A 2 or 4-year degree in engineering, drafting/design, or technical studies required. Experience with metals, welding symbols and manufacturing processes a plus. Project Detailer must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook_ suite of applications, AutoCAD 2007, and MRP/ERP system experience. Must have a high level of energy; be results-oriented, and confident. Must be able to establish and maintain a strong rapport and positive relationships with all levels. Must be strategic in orientation, proactive, persistent, and able to handle multiple projects and/or customers simultaneously, as well as work within a very fast-paced environment.
