Research, design, develop, and test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military or scientific use. Responsible for supervising the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components. The technical skills include knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Help to setup and monitor data closet equipment including servers and UPS.
Monitor and report on general site health status including data closet equipment, servers, network, and clients.
Assist with the running of cables and provide guidance to local team on cable runs and termination.
Escort vendors within the site so they can do maintenance tasks on data closet systems.
Assist the site lead with server operations as needed.
Set up new servers and clients according to documented processes.
Perform standard maintenance tasks on clients and servers including patches, agent install, and incident troubleshooting.
Maintain and document all network IDF changes and port mappings.
Collaborate with the plant staff to foster open communication with CBS and ensure all devices on site at used in accordance with CBS IT best practices.
Position is 100% on site, with the primary location being the Mineral Point, WI, but also supporting additional the Stoughton, and Janesville sites.
