Our work depends on a Systems Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA.
As a Systems Engineer supporting the Government, you will be a part of a team charged with engineering solutions for desktop (physical & virtual) builds for Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems, STIF compliance, life cycle, etc.
In this role, a typical day may include:
Building the strategy for the endpoint environment, including emerging technology, new technical solutions, software, and hardware based on DIA CIO road maps
Maintaining DISA-approved WIM and Secure Host Baseline (SHB) including testing and transferring to appropriate enclaves
Downloading, packaging, and deploying Windows and Office Security Updates
Developing, implementing, and documenting formal configuration guides as needed
Developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for end user devices, which implement STIG and other device and account controls
Developing, testing, and deploying desktop images including applications and GPO updates
Deploying and updating approved packaged applications using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)
Developing technical support documentation for IT equipment and systems as required
