Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Desktop Support Technician:
- Deliver frontline desktop support to end users across our client's campus, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Manage and resolve support requests from a ticket queue, focusing on troubleshooting Windows environments and hardware problems.
- Perform system builds, imaging, and device configuration, while assisting with hardware deployment and logistics.
- Provide account and access support, and assist users with application-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with end users, setting appropriate expectations and escalating issues when necessary.
Required Skills for Desktop Support Technician:
- 2-3 years of experience in Desktop Support, with a strong emphasis on customer service and communication.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows environments and working independently from a ticket queue.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Experience with hardware deployment, imaging, and workstation builds is preferred.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and supporting enterprise users in an onsite environment is advantageous.
