Desktop Support Technician II - Tallahassee, FL
$25-$28/hour
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to provide advanced desktop and technical support for end users in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network, mobile device, and peripheral issues while delivering outstanding customer service. The Desktop Support Technician II will install, configure, maintain, and support computer systems, printers, and related technology, as well as assist with system upgrades, equipment deployments, and user account administration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier II desktop support and technical troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Support Active Directory user accounts and permissions
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Assist with technology rollouts, upgrades, and equipment replacements
- Escalate complex issues as needed and collaborate with IT team members
Requirements:
- 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience
- Experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Associate degree or relevant technical certifications preferred
