Job Title: Desktop Support Technician II
Location: Onsite - San Diego, CA
Duration: Contract - 6+ months
Pay Rate Range: $31.76 per hour 

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd level desktop support for Windows and macOS workstations, hardware, software, peripherals, connectivity, printing, email, and remote access.
• Troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, image, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related software.
• Manage IT support tickets by logging, prioritizing, documenting, resolving, and escalating issues to appropriate technical teams.
• Support new-hire setups, terminations, relocations, asset and software inventory, hardware disposal, loaner programs, and automated software updates.
• Provide remote and walk-up technical support while maintaining knowledge-base documentation and delivering effective customer follow-up.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Service Desk or Desktop Support experience, or a Bachelor’s degree, with hands-on support for both PC and Mac environments.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS/Android devices, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace/Gmail, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools.
• Working knowledge of wired/Wi-Fi networking, Exchange, UEM/AirWatch, ServiceNow, Zoom, and Slack.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-support experience; ITIL, CompTIA, ACMT, or CCT certification is preferred.
