Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a Contract with a client in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Windows environments, software installation, and desktop support in a fast-paced setting.
Rate Range: $28/Hour to $30/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Desktop Support Technician Responsibilities include:
Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, operating systems, and business applications.
Coordinate device imaging, deployment, and exchange appointments with end users.
Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Monitor and maintain IT equipment, including printers, scanners, and conferencing devices.
Follow up with users to ensure issue resolution and deliver a high level of customer support.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in desktop support, technical support, or helpdesk environments.
Strong experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Proficiency with device imaging, software installation, and end-user support activities.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
