Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a Contract with a client in Brooklyn Park, MN. The ideal candidate will provide frontline technical support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime and seamless user experience.
Rate Range: $22/Hour to $24/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Desktop Support Technician Responsibilities include:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktop systems, operating systems, and business applications.
Troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN access, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in ServiceNow while maintaining accurate asset and inventory records.
Perform break/fix support, system maintenance, and equipment setup to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues, deliver timely resolutions, and provide user guidance and training as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
5-7 years of experience providing desktop support, technical troubleshooting, and end-user assistance in a corporate environment.
Strong experience with ServiceNow and break/fix support, including incident management, ticket tracking, and issue resolution.
Hands-on knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft 365, SCCM, networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN), and desktop hardware support.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
