Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support to join their team onsite in Bangor, ME and provide end-user support.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deskside support
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • PC/laptop repair and break-fix activities
  • Reimaging and software deployment
  • Hardware upgrades and replacements
  • User account support (rights, security, groups)
  • IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks
  • Network connectivity troubleshooting
  • Hands & feet support for network teams
  • Escalating unresolved issues
  • Customer interaction and support
  • Ticket/documentation activities
  • Professional communication and customer service
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of desktop/deskside support experience
  • PC hardware and software support experience
  • Hardware repair and troubleshooting skills
  • Software installation/configuration/troubleshooting
  • Customer service skills
  • Network troubleshooting exposure
  • Ability to work independently
  • A+ certification being a plus
 
Wage Range:
The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
