    Role Overview

    An Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, Cisco Phones and peripherals. Deploy operating systems, software applications, antivirus tools, and updates. Perform imaging, provisioning, and decommissioning of devices

    Key Responsibilities

    Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Deploy operating systems, software applications, antivirus tools, and updates. Perform imaging, provisioning, and decommissioning of devices

    Collaboration and Documentation: Work with IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues, maintain accurate ticketing records, and document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting step

    Cisco Phone Setup

    • Configure and deploy Cisco IP desk phones.
    • Add and update user extensions in the phone system.
    • Test voice lines and fix call quality issues.
    • Patch network cables and check port settings.

    Shipping Tasks

    • Pack broken or extra hardware safely.
    • Create labels and process packages using UPS.
    • Track outgoing and incoming shipments.
    • Keep a log of all shipped inventory.

    Required Skills

    • Experience with Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune
    • Knowledge of networking protocols, security systems, and desktop support software
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and IT teams
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
