Clinical Service Desk Support
Location: Los Angeles, CA – 100% Remote - MUST BE LOCAL

Pay Rate: $32–$36/hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Service Desk Support professional to provide technical and application support within a large healthcare environment. This role will primarily support clinical end users utilizing Cerner EMR applications, providing troubleshooting, account support, issue resolution, and basic application guidance.
The ideal candidate has previous service desk experience within a hospital or healthcare setting, hands-on experience supporting an EMR/EHR system, and excellent customer service and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone and email support for Cerner EMR application and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues and provide timely resolution or escalation to appropriate IT teams.
- Support Cerner user account creation, modifications, access issues, and Active Directory password resets.
- Assist clinical end users with application functionality and provide basic over-the-phone training.
- Coordinate with technical and application support teams to research and resolve more complex issues.
- Document incidents, resolutions, workflows, and support procedures.
- Create and maintain user guides and training documentation.
- Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting users in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of service desk, help desk, or technical support experience.
- Hands-on Cerner / Oracle Health experience.
- Previous experience supporting an EMR/EHR system.
- Clinical or healthcare environment experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to effectively support clinical end users.
- Ability to work independently and appropriately escalate technical issues.
