Desk Mitigation Estimator

A top restoration company in Bryn Mawr is looking for an Estimator with Mitigation experience. 

The ideal candidate will have estimating and a mitigation background. Must have experience writing Xactimate estimates.  

This position will focus on writing and managing mitigation estimates across fire, water, mold, and biohazard losses. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Xactimate, understand proper scoping and documentation, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This restoration company is building a centralized estimating hub and looking for someone who can be both accurate and efficient, while helping drive consistency across our growing platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Solid restoration knowledge
• Experience writing estimates using Xactimate software
• TPA program experience, (Contractor Connection, Sedgwick, Alacrity, etc.) 
• Familiarity with carrier expectations, compliance requirements and estimate auditing 
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional customer communication and service skills

Key points:

• In-office role (Bryn Mawr, PA – transitioning after initial training)
• Training in Overbrook, PA (first few weeks)
• Estimating for mitigation (not reconstruction)
• High volume / multi-location support
• Strong documentation and file compliance required
• Experience with programs like Contractor Connection, Sedgwick, Alacrity, etc. is a plus
