Description

We are seeking a Designer to manage utility service design projects from initiation through completion and billing. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, field personnel, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are accurately designed, scheduled, executed, and invoiced.

Key Responsibilities

Manage utility service design projects throughout the project lifecycle
Review customer requests and project notifications within company systems
Communicate directly with customers to gather project requirements and provide updates
Complete utility design work using GIS mapping tools and related software
Create and maintain work orders within SAP or similar enterprise systems
Coordinate project scheduling with work coordinators and field crews
Provide support and resolve questions during field execution activities
Review completed work and verify project deliverables
Calculate billable project costs and generate customer invoices
Respond to billing inquiries and customer questions
Track and manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate documentation
