Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop multiple creative design solutions for Beauty, Fragrance, and Body Care collections, core categories, and innovation initiatives.
- Translate fragrance stories, consumer insights, and beauty trends into distinctive packaging and product designs.
- Develop cohesive design systems across multiple product formats, ensuring consistency in color, typography, graphics, patterns, photography, and visual storytelling.
- Support the creation and execution of designs from initial concepts through final production.
- Create Design Turn Overs (DTOs) and finalize artwork for handoff to production and cross-functional teams.
- Review mechanical artwork and production files to ensure design accuracy and provide final approval before release.
- Develop concept boards, mood boards, design presentations, and visual storytelling materials.
- Research emerging trends across beauty, fragrance, wellness, lifestyle, colors, materials, and packaging.
- Explore innovative graphic treatments, decorative techniques, materials, and finishes to enhance consumer experience and product presentation.
- Provide approved designs and creative direction to mechanical art and production teams for technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Design leadership, Packaging Engineering, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and other cross-functional teams.
- Participate in store visits, competitive research, and consumer insight activities to understand evolving beauty trends and customer preferences.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4 6 years of professional experience in graphic design, packaging design, illustration, or related creative fields.
- Experience in Beauty, Fragrance, Personal Care, or consumer products is highly preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, graphic design, typography, color, and visual storytelling.
- Strong understanding of beauty and fragrance aesthetics, with the ability to translate trends and consumer insights into creative designs.
- Proven ability to develop cohesive design systems across multiple products, formats, and packaging structures.
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to take projects from initial inspiration through final design execution.
- Experience working with photography, illustration, patterns, typography, and other visual assets.
- Understanding of print production, packaging artwork, and decorative techniques is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to incorporate creative feedback while bringing forward new ideas and design solutions.
- Passion for Beauty, Fragrance, Body Care, wellness, and emerging consumer trends.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
