The Mechanical Designer will support the development team responsible for designing and delivering specialized products for energy industry customers. This role provides the opportunity to work on challenging projects involving product design, testing, manufacturing, and sustaining engineering activities while collaborating with a cross-functional team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
The Mechanical Designer is responsible for generating and releasing engineering product files for MSD products, including CAD models, drawings, specifications, and PDMS records, under the guidance of senior engineering staff and in accordance with local and MSD safety standards and guidelines.
The Mechanical Designer will work closely with senior designers and engineering personnel to build technical expertise, support ongoing product improvements, and contribute to the long-term success of KTC product development and operations
The Mechanical Designer will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager.

It also requires the physical ability to work in an office environment including the ability to sit for long periods of time while performing office or computer tasks as well as interact in a manufacturing shop environment. The job may require some overtime. All applicants must be able to commit to a full-time schedule.
