About the Role
We're looking for a Designer Engineer-a hybrid role at the intersection of design and engineering. You'll prototype, design, and implement user-facing experiences that make Daytona delightful and intuitive for developers.
What You\'ll Be Doing
Design and build user interfaces for core product experiences
Prototype new concepts quickly and iterate with the team
Collaborate with engineers to ensure design quality in production
Define and maintain Daytona's design system and component library
Advocate for user-centered design across the product
You Might Be a Fit If You
Have experience in both design and front-end engineering
Are comfortable prototyping ideas into working demos
Care about usability, accessibility, and design polish
Thrive in cross-functional teams that move fast
Bonus Points
Experience with React, Tailwind, or design systems at scale
Contributions to open-source design or UI libraries
Strong visual design and UX research background
