Job Description
- The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings using CAD software based on provided instructions, sketches, and layouts. This role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to produce highquality drawings for various projects.
Responsibilities: - Prepare drawings using MicroStation or other CAD software according to provided instructions.
- Perform drawing changes and revisions as directed by engineers or project managers.
- Receive close supervision, instruction, and review of work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Follow drafting practices and procedures to produce clear and concise drawings. Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
Qualifications:- Associates Degree (Technology or Drafting) plus experience; or related vocational technical high school program.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly MicroStation or similar tools. Basic understanding of drafting practices and procedures. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical Skills: Must Have- CAD Software & Tool Proficiency, Mechanical Design & Spatial Layout Skills, Standards, Codes, & Documentation,
Nice To Have- Working knowledge of Industry Standard Software, specifically AutoCAD, performing layouts of equipment flow lines with their associated supporting piping, hardware, and utilities
Please note - should be in the office Monday through Thursday.
This role will be a 40 hour per week assignment where the person will partner with a large group of Manufacturing Leaders and operational experts. This person will be supporting a new area operation so they will be on the forefront of the design and construction of a large and very important business operation.
