FieldBridge is looking for a Senior Designer/Drafter in Hanover, Maryland to work for a ubsea engineering and applied technology company.

Pay is $38.75 – $58.17/hour | Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM | Mon–Thur Onsite, Friday Remote | Weekly pay every Friday 

Position Overview:
FieldBridge is looking for a Senior Designer/Drafter in Hanover, Maryland. We offer weekly pay + benefits. This is a contract role supporting a surge in drafting needs on an active subsea project. Models are already generated — the primary focus is drawing creation, updates, and corrections using SolidWorks in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and update CADD solid models and detail drawings at the part and assembly level using SolidWorks
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to simple to moderately complex equipment and mechanisms
  • Work directly with engineers and manufacturing personnel to execute drawing redlines and on-the-fly updates
  • Check technical accuracy and completeness of all drawings to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met
  • Support electromechanical and hydraulic systems drawings related to subsea vehicles

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of CAD design experience
  • Associate's degree in design, drafting, or related engineering field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Formal training and hands-on proficiency in Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks, including Routing, Sheet Metal, and Weldment programs
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks Advanced Parts and Advanced Assemblies (certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with Military Standards and ANSI 14.5 drafting standards including GD&T
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes (CNC, sheet metal, welding)
  • U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain security clearance
  • Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with engineers, vendors, and manufacturing personnel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
